Thank God My PC Broke

My PC broke at the start of last month (March 2026). It sucked. I couldn’t do any work. RAM prices were (still are) crazy. I hadn’t been keeping up with hardware news to know what to build, so I had to research for a bit (a lot, actually).

Sounds weird, but I’m actually thankful for it.

It gave me the time I desperately needed for a break, especially from all the AI madness. My brain just couldn’t keep up. Last month, I even broke down and cried just thinking about finding a job and how behind I was.

So, a little piece of advice: slow down.

You might read that someone ran 20 Ralph loops overnight and built 100s of apps in a week. You might read how someone wrote 1000 commits in a day. You might read that software engineering is dead as we knew it.

But slow the fuck down. If not for the quality of your code, then at least for the sake of your own sanity. Not everyone can move at Sonic speed and keep up with everything, and that’s okay.
